Happy Saturday!

I hope this post finds you well. I wanted to keep y’all up to date on my recent, current, and upcoming news on all things books.

I recently had a book signing at a local bookstore that supports the animal shelters. (http://thekneadycat.org) They are a thrift bookshop that splits proceeds with the local shelters. They also have great gifts and pretty regular events with other authors and organizations. If you’re ever in the Bluffton, SC area, swing by!

I am also currently working on my third novel (Summer Solstice). Eeek!!! I am holding this one super close to my chest as it opens old wounds and is very personal. It’s being published by a group that supports women empowerment and success. The story is realistic fiction/contemporary romance and will have trigger warnings attached. But still no spice. I can’t do it…Summer Solstice is set to release in October 2024!

Lastly, the future and upcoming events. I have a few TikTok and podcast interviews scheduled to talk about my current titles and the one coming soon. I also have a book signing in May at Barnes & Noble in Savannah, GA! I’ll post these dates as they get closer.

Also, I am in the process of creating a YouTube channel using my name as the title (https://youtube.com/@nicolewbarnes?si=ns6YR_21_0m0hfam). It is a place where I will share books by other indie authors, bestsellers, and chapters from each with permission from the copyright holders. I am excited to introduce you to new authors and others that are in the same boat as myself. Maybe you’ll find a new genre to fall into.
